Let's Schedule Posts In WordPress
1/ From the WP Dashboard, click on Posts in the left menu.
2/ Click on Add New Post if you don't have an existing Post to schedule.
3/ Create your Post
4/ On the right side of your postBEFORE you publish it, there is an Edit link next to it.
5/ Click on the Edit link.
6/ Choose the date and time you wish this particular Post to be Published on.
7/ When you are satisfied with your choice, click on the Ok button.
Your Post is now scheduled to Publish on the date you chose.
Make sure youfollow up as a test run on your test site to make sure the schedule is running correctly. If not, continue reading for the solution!
Now you MAY come across a problem - it's called the Missed Schedule Error. This is because the WP Cron has failed to synchronize the schedule and therefore to fix this error, a plugin needs to be installed.
