After clicking on "Revisions" within the "Document" section of a Page or Post, you will see a screen that looks similar to the one above.

You will be able to view your revisions side-by-side, allowing you to choose which revision you would like to restore.

Across the top of the page, you will see a Previous button (top-left), a Next button (top-right) and a Slider (top-middle). You can use these to navigate between the different revisions.

When you have found the revision that you would like to restore, you can click on the button located at the top-right, below the Next button. This will either say "Restore This Autosave" or "Restore This Revision".

When you are ready to proceed, please click on the Next Page button below.

I tried this today but it did not work for me. I believe it was because my post was created in Elementor. I clicked on the'restore this revision' but nothing came up and I could not do any editing.

A very useful reminder thanks. I have panicked in the past, forgetting about the historic versions.

Very good to know. I have been in this position in the past and I did not know how to revert back to a previous version. This will be very useful.
