There are so many themes to choose from here at WA, when you're about to set up your spanking new website. Sometimes you may see a really nice one you want to use; the font is the right size, the layout is good etc. But when you scroll down to get the entire view of what the website looks like, you see those dastardly tags right above the author box.

If you're okay with it, then you may just go ahead and choose the theme to build your website. But if you're like me and you don't really want to see your tags show up at the bottom of your site, then you may just move on and use a different theme.

Well, I did that a few times, then I saw this pretty neat looking theme that I wanted to use. But lo and behold, the tags were there. However, this time I didn't feel like leaving this theme alone, to go find another.

Thank you Vanessa, I have tried this but so far it has not worked (there is always one eh!) I have entered and published the following (please see pic). But the tag labels are still showing.

Can you think of any reason why it is not working?

try using siteorigin css plugin
click on appearance - custom css
and then the eye - when it opens
click on the tags area
and in the left hand pane select layout at the top
scroll down to visibility and click on hidden and your tags will disappear if you have selected the correct element
click on the tick at the top lf the left pane and you wil lbe taken back to a panel showing what will be applied to your site
click on save css and your tags should be gone
have fun
