Did it not work? I watched the video again and checked my setting. It still did not work. Anyone have a guess why?

Thanks for this info. I had wondered how to do that. However, after reading Miren's post about her content being copied, and some of the replies that mentioned the date being used to prove that the content is hers, I'm wondering if it's a good idea to delete them.

You can deactivate the plugin at any time and the date reappears. Besides a screenshot of the date on Wordpress is not proof anyway. As you can change the date on your Wordpress blog to say whatever date you want.
