Seeing your Amazon commissions from your Amazon Reports dashboard is a different feeling compared to holding the cold cash. Lol. I know. My first $5 didn’t really make me happy until I used it to pay for an online transaction.

But how do you get to enjoy the fruits of your labor when you have to wait for at least $100 to receive a cheque payment from Amazon?

What if you don’t want to receive it as an Amazon gift card?

Or if you live outside the US and don’t have a US account for direct deposit payment option?

Enter Payoneer.

Payoneer is like Paypal. You can request and receive payments from clients if you are a freelancer. You can also receive your Amazon affiliate commissions thru Payoneer.

Here’s how.

  1. Go to https://www.payoneer.com. and click on the sign-up button.

  2. Fill out the form. Enter your contact details. Input your security details. And confirm your account.

How do you fill the tax info?
I did add payoneer bank acc info and my non usa resident tax info and i got this message: "We are unable to make payment for your account. Please contact Amazon Associates Customer Service for further assistance."
UPDATE: Payonner wrote back to me saying that my account is OK, that the message was auto generated but that all was OK :)

Did you apply to Amazon US though?
If you aren't a US citizen then you best try the country you are a citizen first.

I am already an affiliate in my country. But I want the amazon.com, that's why you use payoneer, right?

Amazon was having a lot of tax problems with France.
I believe they got it sorted out but you would have to contact Amazon Support from your account.

This is a great training Christine :) I'm about to sign-up as affiliate but stopped as there's no clear instructions on the sign-up page on how non-US affiliates will be paid exactly. Glad I searched for info here first :)

Hi Christine, Thanks for your training. Excellent! I was referred here by Anke https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/ahohaia

I signed up for Payoneer a few months ago but never received my card so I haven't been able to activate my account. I am on the fence about whether to apply again as PayPal is working really well for me and am nervous to break Amazon's rules or go against Tax Laws. Ho hum.

When did you apply for the card? You don’t need a physical card to receive payments.:)

It works well. But people should be aware, it is not completely sure that this is legal from Amazon's point of view.

Hi Jovo,

I have been searching online if this is illegal, but it seems that most big time bloggers recommend it as well..I hope Amazon makes it clear since a lot of people are using Payoneer, especially those who are outside the US. Thanks for the heads up!

I know, I am using it myself, and several very successful people here at WA. It works as greatly as you described.

But once I asked Amazon and got an answer which was very worrying. Blogged about it earlier here at WA.

Actually, there is not much in the blog, have a look below. I had conversations with some people through PMs, some of them also contacted Amazon and the message was pretty grim. Just to know.

They do not accept Payoneer officially.

Sounds strange. On Amazon I have read that they do accept it. If you go to their help section and search "Using Payoneer with Amazon" you will get an article.

If you scroll below the list of countries it says:

"Payoneer is available for use in the following marketplaces:

Amazon.com (United States)
Amazon.co.uk (United Kingdom)
Amazon.fr (France)
Amazon.de (Germany)
Amazon.it (Italy)
Amazon.es (Spain)"

I do not know, my guess is this is about using Payoneer within these countries, not if you want to use it from abroad because Amazon USA has some regulations. This is what we have learned after asking Amazon. Two of us asked independently.

So frankly speaking, I would love that this is true what you show here.

Hmm - difficult to know. But let's hope it will keep working to use it.

Great training Christine. Would have loved to have this 3 weeks ago when I found out about Payoneer and set it up for myself. Not that it was difficult, but your instructions would have made it that much easier.

Hey Brendan,

I have been wanting to hit the publish button, but my toddler and my hectic full-time work from home/stay at home status are quite challenging. lol. I hope other WA-ers can still benefit from it. :)
