Once you have installed your Blue Stacks and logged into your Google account. You will have the opportunity to activate various of your phone apps so you can see them in Blue Stacks.

For this exercise, activate your Instagram account.

On the top tabs, click on Android.

If you have activated Instagram you will see the icon in the top Recently Played area. Click the icon.

Your live Instagram screen will open up and you can read and scroll just as if you were on your phone.

Ok so how do we create a new picture post?

Just like you would on your phone click on the middle camera button at the bottom of the screen.

Click on Gallery on the bottom, and then Gallery at the top.

On clicking on the top Gallery button you should see a drop down menu.

The options in case you can't read them are:

  • Shared Folder
  • Other...
  • Pictures

You can decide which is best depending on where you keep your pictures. I use Other so I can explore around my PC to find where I put them.

This was a terrific training! I am just beginning to learn about utilizing social media and I hadn't thought about Instagram. I'll remember this training for when I'm ready for it. Thank you!

Thanks... But It's not a project I'll be working on... As of about 10 minutes ago... Funny how it comes in now... Ahhh the games that are played... See why WA isn't something I have a lot of trust in... Thanks again
