In the competitive world of blogging, making your content more organized is really important. Many bloggers write engaging posts for their visitors and then end up placing links and resources in the wrong way.
As a blogger, you are writing and posting content for an unlimited number of people. Your blog may have a few hundred visitors monthly, but if you write content properly, you will surely be noticed.
Your content should not only be clean and organized, but it should have links and resources placed in the right place.
Aside from purely creating content, a lot of bloggers are part-time marketers. They use their content to generate sales leads for services, businesses, and products. These promotional pieces can be a broader topic related to the product, or simply just a review of the product.
After creating such posts, these bloggers place promotional links on them to get commissions.
When these links are not properly placed, you may not get the expected amount of turnover as a marketer. This may be caused by you not properly placing links, or not making them visible to the viewers. To prevent such issues from occurring repeatedly, bloggers need to have a content development strategy.
Building a Content Development and Publishing Strategy
While some bloggers believe in placing more links, some are of the opinion that less is better. In context, I will advise bloggers to be a lot more careful when placing links on their content.
Adding a few links to your blog may not be your call, but you have to be careful when placing a lot of them. Links can be very beneficial to you as a marketer, but your reader may be discouraged if it’s overdone.
I had some Amazon links that were going to expired associate names and others that led to CJ advertisers who were no longer with CJ but had moved to other providers.
