Holidays are Crazy!

Yes, I know how stressful and crazy the holidays can be for everyone around the globe. You are super busy cooking, baking sweets, cleaning your house, getting the ready for your in-laws, traveling with your young screaming children, shopping and then eventually you get to stop and enjoy your specific holiday, be it Hanukkah, Christmas, etc .

So when you are working hard to develop your online business and finish your WA training, where do you find time for your content development on your niche website? For some people, their websites can fall on the back burner when the holidays come around simply because there seems to be very little time left for your online business growth. You are expected to drop everything and spend time with your loved ones.

And, perhaps you are ready for a break from writing content and working on your blogs? For many of you, that can be a really great idea. You can catch up with some friends and family members who only see this time of year. After all, it is vital we take time for those things that are important, such as family life. I completely respect that if that is how you feel.

But for those of us who are trying to take your websites to the next level and ultimately create a super successful online business to include making tweaks and minor changes to your website and writing new pages and posts. I know many of us here at WA are busy this weekend promoting WA Black Friday.

I have created this tutorial with some tips to assist you in keeping up with your website and making sure the content is fresh during the crazy holiday season without feeling like you are connected to it 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Thanks Steph. I like the idea of using a timer. It reminds me of a technique we use at the office, called the "Pomodoro" technique. It's all about blocking off time where you can work undisturbed.

Great training!

Yep. I have heard of that. The Pomodoro technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals, like for instance 25 minutes in length and is separated by short breaks. These intervals are named pomodoros. Am I right?

Spot on, Steph. It really works quite well, actually.

reminds me of the days of anti-mousearm software. They also broke it down in shorter and longer work moments.. with breaks where you couldn't use your pc anymore as you had to go for a walk or an exercise ;-)
