Site Comments is a great platform available to WA members. However, it is not perfect. By that I mean that there is no way to keep the conversation going unless you do it manually. Here is what I mean:

1. Go to Site Comments

2. Click on Offer Comments

3. Scroll to the bottom - here you will see all of the sites you have commented on. If it says "1 Credit" that means your comment has been approved by the site owner and there is a good chance they have left a reply. If you remember the sites that you asked the owner a question, click on that site and scroll down until you see your comment and their response.

If you then want to keep the conversation going find their reply to you and then click on reply

From there you will have to manually fill out your information (make sure to enter the same name and email you used for the original comment)

Next I will show you what you can do to your site to make it easier for people to remember to come back and keep the discussion going!

Thanks so much for this info. I was wondering how that worked once you had a comment in the system. I just assumed is you wanted to follow up for some reason had to go to blog directly. So we get credit for replying to comments w/in the system? Thanks

Unfortunately you do not get a credit for leaving a follow up reply via Site Comments. Some members have discussed that this would be a great addition to the platform. Hopefully we will see this in the future.

Usually I go to somebody's website back which I see interesting to look for answers to my comments. Sometimes some sites are so far away from my interests, that I do not know how to extend conversation. Luckily, there are many inspiring and fascinating sites, that sometimes I forget to comment. After reading, I go back to particular page which was offered for input.

That is great that you are going back to sites you were interested in. I wish more people did that. I had someone outright disagree with a post of mine and I left a very detailed response but I never heard back from the poster. I was really hoping he would come back and reply to my comment.
