This part of the tutorial is going to show you how to add the Jaaxy search plugin code to the new block-style page and post layout in WordPress 5.0 using the HTML editor.

Hover over the text in your text block for the editor option to appear, click on as indicated below by the red circle. This is the more options button.

Move down to the edit as HTML option and select.

Paste the Jaaxy Search plugin in the desired place.

Please note if you post the HTML code in amongst existing text in your post you will get the message, "This block contains unexpected or invalid content." If your content is correct then click convert to HTML. You will see your page in HTML.

Click preview and you will see what the plugin will look like on your page.

Remember to update or save your changes.
