Here is a quick and easy video training for those that have never inserted an Image into their Blog here at WA but always wondered how it is done.

Just a quick update I made a mistake in this video do not use the camera icon to insert your image use the tab on the tool bar at the end next to the link tab that is for inserting images. Sorry, my bad.

Enjoy

Tommy

Hi Tommy -
First, thank you for doing this. Appreciate it. While I didn't know about the size requirements for the photos, I did follow the right process to upload an image and size it and click Done. The image showed in a small window to the upper right of the blog post window, prior to publishing. However, when I published, it was nowhere to be seen. What do you think might've happened? thx. :-)

I'm going to test it again, making sure my pic is the right size and see if the same thing happens again. I'll let you know, either way, Tommy. Thanks, again!

Tommy, I took a screen shot of what happens (which did again, also following the instructions on how to insert a photo and making sure it was at least 200x200). I can PM you it to see. However, what I learned is if I click on the screen icon in the tool bar at the top of the post, INSTEAD of clicking on the camera icon, it takes me through the same steps but does insert the image. It also allows me to crop it full size. So, what I'm thinking is that the camera icon is for a thumbnail (but, I have no idea where one actually sees it, once published), and the screen icon is for actually inserting images into the body of the post. Can you check that out on your end and tell me what you find?
Want to know if it's a Jody's computer quirk kind of thing, or if it indeed works that way.
Thanks, Tommy!

I've figured it out, TJ. You place your cursor at the spot in your post you want to insert the image. Then you click on the icon in the menu bar above your post that looks like a tv screen, sort of. it's a rectangular shaped icon. When you click on that, a window will come up asking you to browse for your image. When you select your image from your computer and upload it, you will have to frame it by dragging the corners of the little window inside your image, so the complete image is viewable. Then, you'll click, Done. That will bring up an option to Insert the Image. Click that and, voila!, it's inserted! You can PM me if you continue to have trouble. Good luck!
