I have found this very helpful in starting out the process. From the following questions you will realise that I am nowhere near a G+ aficionado!

Page 2 - I have done.
Page 3 - Is the bio page the 'About Me' page.
- Where are you linking from?
- Where on the 'About Me' page are you linking to?
Page 4 - Is the G+ link under profile, link, attach enter or paste page?
- Replace example URL with URL 'About Me page' ?
- Put link under 'About Me' header?
- Do I need a button or badge or will the link just above work?
