Recently, I was able to solve the problem of having spam comments and spam bots who do brute force attacks on my site. In this video training, I share what I did, how to identify spam comments, and how much efficiency this has added for me.

If you're having problems with spam, hopefully, this helps you out.

Thanks, Denise, for the training. I have now had a couple of times really awful comments that are not child friendly, I added an anti-spam Bee plugin, and it helped but prevented WAers from commenting on my posts, so I had to deactivate it.

Did or do the plugins you talk about also prevent any comments from the community from getting posted?

have you tried the form block - it has some bits that try to stop spam and it can be setup as either a contact form or an autoresponder form...

it looks like the form block has been dropped for some reason...
but you can add kadence blocks and this has a fully featured form block...
with honeypot anti spam and if you want to use it a recaptcha section...
you can group multiple blocks together - so you can have an image in the background....
you can have text to the left and the form to the right...
so it is very flexible...
