One of the big downsides of not being in a country that has its own Amazon store is having to wait months for my check to come.... and of course the minimum $100 needed to get that check.

But that has all been resolved through using Payoneer to get paid via bank transfer by Amazon even though I am not in the US!

Hi Lynne - that is super brill!

How did your bank not know what to do with a $ cheque. It's a bank, isn't it? :-)

Two Qs -

What's the exchange rate like? Eg, PayPal isn't great but it's not too bad if you know what I mean.

What fee do they charge for their service?

Thanks,
Ian

Hey Ian

It's South Africa and the first few times I went to the bank they seemed confused and said a manager needs to deal with it, but because I live in a small town there is 1 manager between the 3 towns lol.... long stories.

I think their fee is 0.05% but you will have to check on their website!

Heck! :-)

Fee sounds unfeasably low :-)

Thanks.

Hey Lynne,

Who owns Payoneer... and what stops this company from selling our information?

Thanks for the training... tagged and Liked for sharing in the future. :-))

The founder and president is Yuval Tal - I guess the same question could be asked of Paypal too :) Nothing actually stops anyone from selling our information!

Great video and very helpful. I’m trying to sign up for the site and it’s asking for a bic code? I don’t even know what that is and can’t seem to find any answers other than it has something to do with a financial institution
Any help would be wonderful
Love & hugs

I believe that is like an international bank code for your bank - also known as a SWIFT code. Type the name of your bank followed by SWIFT into Google and you should get it!
