How to get more likes for a Facebook page!

This video is targeted at Facebook, but really almost all these tips can be applied to any social network.

To get likes you need to be active on Facebook and engage. Here's how to do it.

Firstly work out what your optimum posting schedule is, if you have only a few fans you can't post new content every 5 minutes or your fans will run. The more fans you have and the more engagement you have the more you can post. I can't tell you how often you should post because this will be different for everyone.

Vary the type of things you post. Yes share your website content, but also share fun pics related to your niche and ask questions. Remember to also share other people's content too. This can be by sharing their Facebook page posts and by sharing great posts from their websites.

Share you content on your personal profile and also in niche related groups. I will be sharing information about the difference between a Facebook group and Facebook page soon. When you share your content in a group remember to also engage with others at the same time... otherwise you are just throwing out your content which becomes more like spam than sharing!

Interact with others in your niche and seek out authorities in your niche to interact with.

Once your fans are engaging with you, don't ignore them! Engage back with them.

Once you have some engagement and some activity on your page think about making use of Facebook advertising. I have do this a few times and it has been very successful for me.
