This is a very common question that gets asked a lot in chat, "Where do I get free pictures from?" and I aim to answer it for you. I know when I started I was typing in for photos in my niche and I was finding lots and lots of stock photo sites where you were expected to pay for each image. Well, I just couldn't afford that so somehow and very luckily for me, somebody happened to mention the site pixabay in live chat.

I thought it would be a great idea if I checked it out and now, 20 months down the line I do not nor do I need to use anything else! If you cannot find a good picture then type in different keywords trying not to be very specific and you will usually find one that you want/need!

I will guide you through step by step how you can choose an image, upload it to your computer and get it on your site. It will be so easy to follow!

all the images on Pixaby aren't free. A lot of them are shutterstock images which by no means are free. When you click on one that's free it will say download on the right sidebar

Pixabay also displays Shutterstock images. If you happen to have selected the images from the latter site then they are chargeable. Otherwise generally Pixabay pictures are free to download unless some charges are mentioned speciically. However, sometimes they may request you for a donation etc. but it is completely voluntary.

I'm just going to say; you can get free images on Google; try "Royalty free images" and "Copyright Free Images" and your subject; and I suggest you go to images on the top left. Hope this helps?

Oh, and you can look at the sites that come up; but I prefer to go into Images; and in Images when you click on the image; you will get a warning if there is a cost to use it; hope this helps?
