What is Freewriting?
Freewriting is one of the better techniques that writers can use. If you have an idea for a topic but aren’t sure whether it will work or not, freewriting is a good way to help you find it out. Additionally, if you already know your topic freewriting would help you come up with additional ideas.
Freewriting means what its name suggests: writing without constraint. According to Wikipedia, "Freewriting is a pre-writing technique in which a person writes continuously for a set period of time without regard to spelling, grammar, or topic. It produces raw, often unusable material, but helps writers overcome blocks of apathy and self-criticism".
The practice of freewriting eliminates these obstacles and allows a writer to generate creativity.
