This short video will show you how to flush your computer DNS cache, this is only for people who may be having problems after adding a domain and installing wordpress on WA hosting, but are having trouble seeing the new site.

Basically all you need to do in open up command prompt as administrator and enter the following command:

ipconfig /flushdns

Then press enter, if correct you'll see a success message.

Why Do I Need To Flush DNS Cache?

To be honest, it's all a little too technical for me, I just know that when a domain that you've visited switches IP, you may need to flush the DNS cache to see site on the new IP.
For details on how to complete this process using different platforms, I would recommend the following resource: https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html

I am avoiding Windows 8, but is awesome for you to provide this tutorial for those who need it! I am actually going to look into Windows 10, any input?

Hi Christa, Thanks for the comment. I don't have any problems with 8.1 but my next purchase is likely going to be a Mac.
