Exhausted the WA search function to no success?
No problem, the next step is very simple.
Live Chat
This is a great place to ask your question. The only downfall is that at times the chat can move very quickly so questions and answers can get lost.
I would ask very short and specific questions here. If it's not too busy, the community will engage and work together to find a solution.
If you are asking a specific person a question I suggest using the REPLY button in live chat. The person you message will get a notification (only if hey are present in live chat), telling them that someone is talking directly to them.
Attention - If you want to send someone a PM, you need to ask them permission prior to sending. It's the rules and its only polite :)
Ask A Question Using WA Search Bar
If you don't get the answers through live chat then this is the next step. Perhaps you skip live chat which is fine, what ever works for you :)
When you do a search using the WA search bar, scroll to the bottom and you will see a section asking you if you want to ask a question. See image below:
Important things to note here are:
- WA wants you to add a ? to your question
- Choose a classroom that relates to your topic. (sorry, the red line in my image has crossed this out)
- Add the rules you learned from the previous lesson :)
I find this form of questioning works really well. Better than live chat as you are able to go into further detail and attach the Question to a classroom. There is also some longevity here as the question will remain in the feed for longer than a live chat message.
People have different skills. Me personally, I love SEO questions and you will often find me lurking in that classroom. Others have strong writing skills so utilizing classrooms is a great way to connect with your ideal audience.
In the next module I will give you the next step in finding answers to your questions.
