The topic of finding a niche when starting your affiliate marketing website still seems to escape people. It really is simple to find niche markets because we are totally surrounded by them all the time. When Kyle says in the training, that a niche can be practically anything, he is correct.

ARE YOU READY TO FIND SOME NICHES?

In this training tutorial I am going to post 3 different photographs per page. Then I will list the possible niche markets that are obvious to see within the pictures, as well as others that are not so obvious. Hopefully this will give you some ideas and help to expand your scope when searching for and breaking down your niches.

One thing to remember, just because a photograph might be of specific type of an event, this does not mean that all of the niche markets within that picture have to be a part of that event. For example, I have a picture of a baseball game, yet I list different niche markets that are not a part of baseball.

SO LET US GET STARTED!

Great post, Robert. I do have a question though.

Although anything can be a niche, not everything is easy to write content on that people actually search. For example, lets say I was in the beer and drink cooler niche (mentioned above), how much content can I truly write about, aside from reviews and trying to sell products, that will drive traffic to your site?

I don't know if this is completely off base from the point of the niche or not (still new to WA).

Hope you see this, I look forward to hearing your answer.
Thanks in advance.

I am sure there are all kinds of things you could find to write about. Types of product used to make beer. Types of distilling. I am sure you can think of more items if you have to.

That actually cleared up a lot of questions I had running through my mind. Thank you!

If you were to do a niche about beer and drink coolers you could do reviews on the different kinds, like shoulder soft wall coolers, coolers with wheels, compartmented coolers, and others.

Then you could write other content that talks about why certain coolers are good for certain environments like while camping, traveling on a road trip, at a barbecue or tailgate party.

Thanks Robert,
These are great ideas. Sometimes things are just too obvious for the natural eye. Often it's not sight, but vision we need.

Exactly Vincent. We need vision and not so much sight. We need to visualize as a whole that which we see, and then the niche ideas will begin to flow.

Robert - Great post. As you pointed out there are niches everywhere, you just have to look to find them.

I'm kind of biased towards the tailgate pic. I spot an Eli jersey or two in that photo, which makes for an excellent NFL jersey niche.

Finger foods at a Giants tailgate party. It must have been an away game in LA.

Go Giants!

Thanks Patrick. Though an Eli jersey on its own would be too narrow of a niche, a niche representing all kinds of products having to do with Eli Manning would make a great niche.

As for the finger food, it was a pre-season game and we normally do not bring in the big guns of gourmet food until the regular season. ;)

Yes very true about the Eli niche. A pre-season game makes more sense now. Thanks for clarifying.:)
