1) Are you proud of The Product?
Is it a product you will want to be associated with, I mean, is it a product you will be proud to promote?
If not, then drop it.
Your reputation and integrity is very important, sell what you will be proud to sell, after all, there are thousands of programs out there
Why will you ‘box’ yourself into a program you cannot showcase.
2) How Much are they ready to pay
Commission differs from one affiliate program to another, you are here to earn cash. So you must consider the rate and the structure of the commission. I will gladly promote a wealthy affiliate for its monthly commission. As regards to the commission, you can use the following questions as a guide
- What percentage of the sales will you get?
- Am I paid just once or on a subscription base?
- How long will the cookies track affiliate records last?
- Is there an amount I must sell before I get paid?
- How old is this company?
3) How easy to understand is there Affiliate dashboard?
Every affiliate program has a user interface for its affiliate to sign in – dashboard. Here you will gain access to your affiliate link and other materials, monitor sales, and even view your progress.
Don’t join a network with manual affiliate processes; a program where you cannot monitor sales and follow up with your progress is no go area.
The affiliate dashboard should be easy for you to work through; you should be able to track your sales, accrued commission, and a lot of others.
