Researching whats trending on amazon is probably easier than on Ebay and compliments the affiliate business better than Ebay in my experience.
I tend to lead more towards Amazon than Ebay for my websites as per the training here at WA but I prefer to promote eBay products on selling pages on Facebook.
Amazon has a best sellers list showing you what products are popular:
TO get further date for your niche you just have to click on a category to find out whats hot!
