Step 2: Think Like A True Marketing Expert.
You may be surprised how many niche ideas would come to mind in a single day, just by looking at everything from a marketing point of view. Take your pen and devices with you (or just use your smartphone) and take notes on every activity you do during the day:
• Conversations with others.
• Things that you hear in the news.
• What you see on TV
• What you read in the papers or magazines
• Things that you see.
• Products that you use.
• Exciting things that make you and the people around you happy.
• Activities that you make.
• Places you visit.
• Thinks about all those things one after each other.
Then the following questions for each of these points should be asked:
• Are these things that people other than you are interested in?
• Do other people spend money on these activities?
• Are there any issues where people are looking for a solution?
• Are they things that would make people happy?
At least if one, all, or some of these answers is/are yes, then you have identified your potential niche ideas. Which means you have a whole list of potential niche ideas.
