Let's Find Out How To Export Keyword Lists In The Keyword Research Tool

Once you have accessed and selected the keyword lists you want to export

1/ Click on the Export Selected Link at the top left of the page under the title Keyword Search as seen in the screenshot below:

This opens a dialog box with a few options

You can select to choose only Keywords or Keyword & Data.

My recommendation would be to select Keyword & Data, that way you will have everything and can discard what you don't want later.

2/ Click on the radio button for the 2nd Option, Keyword & Data

3/ then click on the blue button Export Now, as seen in the screenshot above

This opens another dialog box to save the file in a zipped format

4/ Click on the Save File option and then click on the OK button seen above
You will then be prompted to select the folder and type in the name of the file you want to call the KeywordLists or just use the default, but remember to note what it is named and where you have save it so you can find it later!

5/ Select the folder on the left hand side that you want to save it in

6/ Type in the name of file you want to save it as in the File Name field as seen in the highlighted example

7/ Click on the Save button in the bottom right corner of the dialog box as seen above in the screenshot.

This will save a Zipped File to your hard drive and you will need to use a software program to Unzip the file to access the files at a later stage.

Now that we've Exported the Keyword Lists, let's wrap up the tutorial with questions, comments and answers.

I have already done this weeks ago, but I admit I was hoping you had found a way to move them from the Keyword tool to the saved lists in Jaaxy lite. I am staying tuned :) If you find a way, let me know :)

Hi Maddy

As I was creating that I was scouring Jaaxy for the import button but found none.

Carson has confirmed there is no way to import the exported keyword lists to Jaaxy.

Perhaps this will be a feature that they may look at in the future for other keywords created in an excel spreadsheet or other platforms.

But for now, it's not possible.

I suggest plugging in the keywords that mean the most to you and that have the best QSR and Traffic into Jaaxy to find if there any other better ones to compliment them.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Alex. I tried to be as concise as possible, one doesn't want to lose such vital information on a glitch in the training!
