Hi Wayne, try this:

Go to your dashboard.
Find appearance.
Then find customize in appearance. Click it.
Then find the area where it says comments and make sure there is a check mark put in, then save.

This should fix the problem.

I have looked through all parts of the "Apperience Customize" area and I can't find anything about comments. ??? I have Hiero theme. Do you suppose that changing to another theme might solve the issue?

Is there any way of knowing which theme has visible comments available?

Go to your dashboard and check spam comments then you have to approve them before they will appear on your post.

And what good would it do to approve spam comments...something I don't think any of us really want?

He meant he thinks there's comments appearing in your spam folder that are legitimate. In this case, that advice is useless Wayne. PM about this and I'll help you get sorted out.

Hey, Anthony. Just thought \i should update you on my situation. It seems that there was a problem with WordPress and my themes but not necessarily the themes themselves...I think.

I was able to figure out where the comments were, however. There was a little blue box at the top of each post on the right-hand side with a number in it. If a post had 3 comments there was a 3 in the box and so on.

I decided to click on the little box to see what happened and low and behold the comments were there all along.

I have changed my theme to something simpler but still have to click on a comment bar that says "Comments"

It's all good and I think it will work now that I know where to look.
