Welcome to the training on how to embed a Pinterest pin into your blog post. Learning how to do this is fast and easy and will allow you to curate content from other bloggers on Pinterest. This opens up lots of new content ideas for you.

Is this stealing other people's pins?

No, it's not. It's a feature that Pinterest gives to us to use. When you embed a pin into your blog post, the original pinner still gets full credit. Their branding is included on the pin, and when someone clicks on it, it goes back to their original pin on Pinterest, giving them the views.

Why is this beneficial?

While it may seem like a silly idea to send people away from your site, I personally believe doing this is still beneficial for you.

Here's why:

  • You get additional content ideas
  • You get eyes on your site due to having interesting content
  • You get more people interested in your Pinterest account, which can lead to them engaging in more of your pins and blog content

To me, there isn't a downside. It's a win for you, and a win for the original pinner.

Here's what will be covered in this training:

Step 1 - Grab Pinterest's code and place it in your blog
Step 2 - Save the pins you want to use to your own board(s)
Step 3 - Embed the pins to your blog post

There are just 3 easy steps to opening up a whole new world of content for you!

Let's get to it!

Thanks Christina, I will definitely put this to use... there are tons of Pins that are usable and it doesn't matter what niche either...they are all there... at least there is a pin for every niche.

I noticed. I have an account with them and just haven’t taken the time to do a lot with it. I plan to get more into it in the next couple of weeks. I will definitely put your training to use then.

Thanks Christina. You read my mind. I am budgeting time after this January busy season slows down and 2 hours a day going to Pinterest training for me. Bookmarked for sure. Have a great rest of the weekend.
