I have just come across this nifty little trick and I am about to start embedding Google Trends to a lot of my Wordpress posts!
It is really simple to do, just enter a search term into Google Trends that you want to show on your Wordpress site, you can adjust the date range and you can also compare terms.
Once you have the Google Trends graph exactly how you want it simply click on the three dots on the right hand corner of the graph and then choose “embed”. A window will come up that gives you an embed code.
Copy this code and open the page or post you would like to embed it to. Make sure you change your post from visual mode to text mode and then paste your embed code wherever you want it to show.
Nice and simple!
This is really cool because I have often used Google Trends information to back up information on my posts but until now I have taken screenshots and added them as images to my content.
This old method though will become outdated with time and I may have to come and update content regularly to ensure my content is always up to date.
Embedding Google Trends is just an awesome way to keep everything up to date without ever having to do a thing!
If you have any questions please leave a comment and I will come back to you soonest.
And don’t forget, if you like this training please give it a thumbs up!
