Do you want to add your Facebook fan page or business page to your website?

I’ve found the solution and already applied it on my site.

Note - The example that I will share is my actual fan page site, so you can see in real time the pages and how it was embedded.

Here are the simple steps to do it:

STEP 1: Create your Facebook Fan Page or Business Page

STEP 2: On a separate browser, visit https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin

STEP 3: On that page, input your unique URL page in the Facebook Page URL tab.

Hi JR, thanks for posting this and for laying it out step by step. It's very easy to follow. I am going to bookmark this so that I can come back to it when I'm ready to implement it. I don't have many Facebook followers on my page yet, and I still haven't widely put it out to my friends on my Facebook yet as I'm still working full time and I'm not sure how well it would go over as I'm connected to a few work people.

That leads me to a question if you don't mind - would it look silly having this on my site, showing that I have less than 40 Facebook followers? Do you think that matters? I'd love to boost my FB following as it's the social platform I'm most confident with.

Thanks JR. I always value your opinion.
Cheers
Melissa

Hi Melissa, you're very welcome =) I am glad you find this helpful =) Having few or several followers as of this moment, should not really be a big factor when implementing this on your site. In fact, this can actually boost the number of peeps following you because once a visitor visits your site, they would be made aware that you also have a FB page =) Also, incorporating this early on will give you an indication if it fits well in the overall aesthetic look of your site. If you find it obtrusive or seemingly out of place, best to find it early on so either you find the best place to put it on your site, or decide not to have it =) Just feel free to experiment. That is one thing I learned from my experience in web designing and development. It is always your personal judgment call and our experiences will just be your guide =)
