While many hosts do keep some backups of your website it is your own responsibility to ensure that you have a backup of your own websites. You never know what can go wrong with your website crashing or perhaps someone hacking into your websites.

Here's how to backup your website easily using Updraftplus Wordpress Backup Plugin.

Hi Lynne - this looks great and I've set it up as you descfribe but I get this message:

Warning: The scheduler is disabled in your WordPress install, via the DISABLE_WP_CRON setting. No backups can run (even "Backup Now") unless either you have set up a facility to call the scheduler manually, or until it is enabled. Go here for more information.

I've checked the link but half of it I don't understnad Can you suggest what might be wrong?

Is your website hosted here at WA? If so ask them if the Wordress scheduler is disabled or not. Or check it with the person that you host with :)

I just completed mine on a site that had this installed. I purchased the link to work with One Drive for $15 as I have good storage with One Drive. Found it very easy once I worked out I had to pay for the One Drive integration!
