Having a travel blog means there are many different places and items you can blog about. For instance, I had posts on Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, House and Pet Sitting, Reviews, etc. and all my blogs were lumped into my main blog roll. In a search to separate them I came across an easy to use plugin that did the trick.

WHY YOU MIGHT WANT TO SEPARATE YOUR POSTS

One reason you might want to separate your posts is if you have a lot of them and you notice a theme running through them. Maybe some of your reviews are in blog form and you want to separate them. There could be any number of reasons why you don’t want all your posts in one blog roll.

Here I will go over the simple steps to separate your posts. One thing I noticed is that it doesn’t matter if your home page is static as mine are; the plugin still works.
