The Law of Attraction is the final topic to complete this training process.

You will have heard of this term. Or maybe "you are what you think about". But we'll go deeper here so you can increase your belief in this area.

The first time the term Law of Attraction appeared in print was 1877. Then the law was articulated by Prentice Mulford in his book The Laws of Success published 1886-7.

Since then in the 20th century, if you research in Wikipedia, you will see references to the book The Master Key System by Charles Haanal (1912), Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill (1937), The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale (1957), You Can Heal your Life by Louise Hay (1984).

Then in 2006 the Book and Movie "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne stirred up huge interest in the area world wide. Gerry and Esther Hicks have been prominent teachers since the 1980's.

So The Law has plenty of references to take you further.

Now what is this all about.

People's thoughts are made from pure energy. Let's start there. (I will keep it simple).

Like energy attracts like energy. We attract the things we think about all day long.

54 years ago, when I was just 18, it's no wonder I didn't turn into a girl, as I think that was all I thought about. lol.

The chemistry of our process requires focused thought subconsciously. And the process of keeping out doubt, or resistance to the flow of positive expectation.

A biblical reference is those famous words, "Ask, Believe and Receive". The Secret DVD launched off those words.

The meditation process in the prior page now actions this philosophy. Set up your own "ASK" in your visualising, by creating the full vision of your lifestyle and the results of your work being successful as desired. By keeping this process daily planted into your deeper mind, you prevent doubt or resistance slowing, or blocking your energy.

Now the later trainings then suggest your creation has energetically formed.

Now all there is, is to put yourself in the "allowing mode" to receive it.

The "work" involved on your part is simply to follow the nudges to inspired actions you can take and keep taking, all the while not being concerned with wrong paths as there aren't any. The people you meet, the things you read, the trainings you do, the actions you take will all lead, you in time, to your desired, predetermined goal, lifestyle, dream. That is your vision.

To conclude look at all the marvelous creations and know that someone formed the thought before it's eventual manifestation. Same with you and your life journey. Your hands are in the modelling clay to form, shape and determine the outcome.

The energy and power you can't see is not your job to perform, but trust it is there guiding your every step.

Any unclear points please ask.

Thanks Ken!
Very well thought out and written. I haven’t followed this process for goal setting before, just whipped them off the cuff. Maybe that’s why I don’t have a good track record for meeting them!
Be well,

Thank you KyleAnn. I'm encouraged.
It is a process eh.
Even when we go at it, these steps are happening. This way it can be more deliberate.

Interesting, that I am now writing a post on goals. Reread your article for ideas. Glad I did my "why" story, as your post goes into it as well. Now to try to figure out an original "twist." That will be a challenge. Thanks for helping me clarify my thoughts.
