Meditation, you have heard of it, some practise it. You know the word. Some may know it from a spiritual practise too.

Here I want to encourage you to come to know that it is a significant process in goal setting, establishing deep rooted drivers towards the lifestyle you want.

Great leaders in government and business have these attributes from thinking quietly, sitting for ideas, often creating world changing results or industry wide successes for their companies. You might imagine a managing director or CEO a lonely job, except for the board of directors or senior managers. They are needed for support and consulting in their specialities, but still the chief has to think for him or herself.

We all, as individuals, have both the skills and abilities to run our successful lives, families and businesses just the same. We were created with the same brain functions as each other.

These great leaders meditate for ideas, practise the art of meditation daily.

You can research meditation on google, there are apps available too. Use the free methods. Many are for creating calm in the essence of lessening anxiety and for encouraging an easy process of falling asleep.

It is the same process one of relaxing, quieting the mind. Focus on something neutral, like the air conditioning fan or a ticking clock, until all thoughts slip into the back ground.

This is a dropping off to sleep process too. As you can imagine from that description. Even with inner tension, you can be asleep in 10 minutes.

Now the process in quieting the mind is to turn off the "mind chatter", all those things of the day or week that are currenty taking up space, getting in the way of planting your own visualised thoughts and feelings of the "successful you" into your subconscious.

It doesnt take long. The actual relaxing process say 10 to 15 minutes is longer than the time of planting your "having it all" successful lifestyle imaging onto your mind stage.

Once that is done move onto the rest of your day. You will, after developing this daily practise of meditation, find your imaging will flash back from time to time when you have a quite moment.

There's nothing more to deliberately do now in this phase. The outworking of your work is going to come via inspired action thoughts towards your new visualised reality materialising into encouraging results. Be grateful for each of these breakthroughs.

Next is the final process. We are going to describe the Laws of Attraction

Thanks Ken!
Very well thought out and written. I haven’t followed this process for goal setting before, just whipped them off the cuff. Maybe that’s why I don’t have a good track record for meeting them!
Be well,

Thank you KyleAnn. I'm encouraged.
It is a process eh.
Even when we go at it, these steps are happening. This way it can be more deliberate.

Timely -- I am just finishing a post for my website about finding your why...at the very end I've put my life purpose. It's very enlightening to you to figure out your reason for being here.

Interesting, that I am now writing a post on goals. Reread your article for ideas. Glad I did my "why" story, as your post goes into it as well. Now to try to figure out an original "twist." That will be a challenge. Thanks for helping me clarify my thoughts.
