Headings are all about balance. In fact all of typography is. It is about the lasting visual effect for the reader. And I don't mean Graphic Design - although that helps. Typography is an art in itself, and I have been lucky enough to have been both a typesetter and a desktop publisher and have learnt some valuable lessons on what looks correct, and what does not. I thought I would share some of these lessons in a number of tutorials so that you too, can leave a visual impact that the readers will find pleasing.
