The first step will be creating your content. I use Sitecontent and then do the final editing in Wordpress after publishing.

I normally just write and when editing I determine strategic places to insert CTA Buttons.

Here is how I do this:

In your WP editor, go to the section where you want to add the button and click on the small plus sign. Select and click on "Button".

Jane, this is a good tutorial, which taught me something I didn't know...

One question : ) I followed the tutorial as you wrote it, but I can't seem to see the + sign you mentioned at the start

Can you point me in the right direction please, as I like this idea

One plus factor of this tutorial for me, is that when looking at my own editor, I discovered a couple of buttons I didn't know existed but will also compliment you training as well

Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave
Thanks for checking this out.
To see the + sign in your editor go to an already existing paragraph and press enter after the paragraph, hover (or click) your cursor over the new space, the sign should appear...
hope that helps

Thanks for being helpful Jane, I tried that and nothing appeared.

I'm in my WP Editor in Visual Mode, but don't see the +sign appearing.

Its nothing to with Gutenberg at all is it? if it is I don't work in that

or, perhaps you can do a short video tutorial, as I like the idea of this a lot, its a time saver

No worries you have a lot to do, and if you do a training then great, but if not I'll check out youtube, either way a great training.

Out of Interest are you using Divi Builer to achieve this?

No Dave. I use a free WordPress theme

Ah OK, is this CTA specific to your theme as it still doesn't do it in mine

She's using Gutenberg, you have to click convert to blocks to use the editor and add the CTA's I also created a CTA for my Newsletter and have them saved as reusable blocks so I don't have to recreate them every time I want to use them.

You're welcome, Jimmy.
I like the fact that you can easily edit your old posts and insert CTA buttons where you feel they are needed.
