I went through quite the learning curve to figure out how to use anchor links in my blog posts. I hope this quick video will save you some time and effort!
A few important things to remember:
1. Put the # sign before the words you type when you are setting the link at the top of the page.
2. The part of the page you are linking to needs to be in a heading format, otherwise it won't give you the html anchor box option.
3. Use the same words in the linked word(s) at the top of the page as the html anchor link down below/in the spot you are linking to.
Please like and share this video if you found it helpful.
Best of luck and happy linking!
Heidi :)

Thanks for this, I am going to try this with block editor but can't really see why it could be different. A picture is worth a 1,000 words and you have made this so easy. After reading about HTML and CSS it started looking more and more difficult. But you have cut to the chase and laid it out in an extremely easy way to understand. I take my hat off to you, well done, and many thanks.
