The first thing you will need besides your content is a means to turn it into a PDF format, so your first stop will beOpen Office This is a Free Productivity Suite that has a wide set of tools. Click on Download.

Once you download the zip file un-zip it to your computer and install it. The one tool we need to creat the PDF is called OpenOffice.org Writer so after you download and unzip the file click on OpenOffice.org Writer it will open this window.

At this point you can start banging away adding your content just like you would with a website, across the top is a nav bar that lets you do a ton of things, I recommend you play with each button to get a feel for them, as I don't want this to be over whelming I will show you how to import content, this is a PLF book I picked-up and will be selling, so I will click on file, this opens a drop down window.

I will click on open and this will let me pick the file I want to import, this PLR book comes in both PDF and Word so I will pick the word document, I could also pick the PDF as long as it was not protected.

I now have my content this is a 46 page e-book and I want to brand it with my website, so the next step is to make the changes I want.
