Yes you can do all that, for the text file open Open Office - go to File and then click Open and locate your document - for links you will see an icon at the top of Open Office that has a chain in it, highlight the text you want to link and then click that icon and insert your link. - for images - click on insert and then Pictures and then you can add a picture from your computer - to add a link click on your image and use the same method you used for text. You can also add hyperlinks by highlighting the text or image you want to link - then click Insert from the top menu then click Hyperlink - this will open the same window when you clicked the icon in the top menu bar. Hope that helps, if you need any other help just give me a buzz.

Hey thanks. I am going to work on this and thanks for your answers even though I told you that you could just answer yes or no. I didn't want to take up your time. Thanks for everything!

Thank you so much! I have been looking for something like this. 2 questions though. I am in the process of writing a book. So, as you showed to add the Word document then do you know if I can send my text from Microsoft One Note 2010? Do I just add the chapters? Oops 3 questions. In the body of the text on Open Office can I add links and images that are clickable? Just let me know yes or no on these questions and I can go test it out for myself. Thank you again.
