In this video I show you how to create a logo for your business usng a free site called Canva.

I also show two Google extensions which come in handy too.

One question: IWhy can't I see any of the icons you see on the top of my website?

Not sure what you mean about icons... are you referring to the website in the video?

Yes.
When I go to my website, I do not see those to change color or fonts.

The video above is an image creation website ... some WordPress sites you can change the font and colours but only if it allows. Trust this helps

Ok if you have created the logo add the image to your media library and then click on the custom button on your theme... visit appearances - themes then customise then choose header if your theme allows you could upload it there.
