Creating a favicon can be as easy as uploading your logo to a custom dimensions Canva image. I don't yet have a logo for my new website so I just did this using the initials of my name.

My previous websites I did exactly the same thing except I uploaded my logos to Canva in.

Take note that a favicon is sometimes also called a site icon, these two terms are interchangeable.

If you have any questions please let me know.

For some reason I cannot see the favicon. Where should I be looking?

You cannot see your favicon or you don't see where anyone's favicon is? Look at the tab for WA in your browser. On the top left of the tab you see a little image with the WA logo?

Done for my affiliate site...great training, Lynne. My theme said size was to be 16px X 16px, but Canva said minimum custom design was 40px...I went with the 40, and it worked anyway...will do other sites later today. Thanks.

Yes I've noticed that different theme give different sizes! My other theme was 96 x 96 - I find it best to always check the theme and see what they say there.

Nice training. How important do you think it is to have a site icon for your sites? I wouldn't have thought to do this.

I think it is pretty important, it is very noticeable if you don't have one :)
