What you need for your Dream Board
These are some basic supplies that I suggest having for building your Dream Board:
- A bulletin board
- Thumb Tacks
- A color printer or a bunch of magazines (this is where you will either print pictures or cut them out of magazines)
- Wall space to hang your Dream Board
I know some people have done their dream boards on an app on their phone. I do not recommend this especially if you have family members that you want to get in on the dream.
If you have it all on your phone, you are only going to see it when you look at your phone. Of course, you may be looking at your phone all the time, but unless you are pulling out your phone to specifically look at your dream board you might as well not have it on your phone!
I recommend having your dream board at home in a place you can see it when you first wake up the morning.
Mine is right next to my bed. I have to at least glimpse it every day when I wake up. It is typically the last thing I look at before I turn off the light at night.
(I had to blot a couple of the dream board items out because they are not relevant to this training.)
My dream board contains images of things I "dream" about making come true by my hard work at Wealthy Affiliate!
- I want to live in the country instead of in town.
- I want to "fire my boss" by quitting my job.
- I want a super deluxe motor home to use for traveling.
- I have a couple of different "dreams" for a "dream" house!
- I want to get a new truck.
- I want to go on a cruise.
- I want to write my novels.
- I am willing to do whatever it takes—within reason. I will not do something that harms another person or animal and I will not break the law!
I rarely follow training posts because I haven't even been paying that much attention to my WA lessons (got lots and lots going on). But the title of this one intrigued and boy, I'm glad I came.
I'm going to bookmark this AND get started on my dream board even before I go to bed! This is a great idea. 👌
Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
Back in the '70s when Amway was making it's second round in southern Ontario, Canada, one of the first things our "upline" rep would insist on is our creating a dream board.
You BET they work.
Up until 2009, I had one item that remained not reached that was on my dream board from back then, and at times it kinda' bugged me... BUT.... I was able to more than DOUBLE that dream in 2009!
It was a donation to an organization that I felt deserved that amount due to their "being there" for my family back when the Avro Arrow got cancelled, and my father was one of the more than 50,000 men out of work, and we lost our home.
Dream boards REALLY do work!
