Creating the "Why"
Finding your "why" is an important part of creating a Dream Board. I like to call it a "Dream Board" because I will be putting things on it that I "dream" about.
When I first created my dream board, it was filled with "things" that I thought I wanted. I thought they were my "why."
But after I matured a bit more in my journey, I realized that my "why" wasn't about things, but about people. So I began to add the poeple in my life that I wanted to be able to do nice things for. By building my dream, I hoped I would be able to help these wonderful people with things they wanted and needed.
These people are my in-laws and my parents! They have given us so much, I wanted to be able to give back to them.

Hi Karin.
I rarely follow training posts because I haven't even been paying that much attention to my WA lessons (got lots and lots going on). But the title of this one intrigued and boy, I'm glad I came.
I'm going to bookmark this AND get started on my dream board even before I go to bed! This is a great idea. 👌
Thanks for sharing.

Hey Karin,
Back in the '70s when Amway was making it's second round in southern Ontario, Canada, one of the first things our "upline" rep would insist on is our creating a dream board.
You BET they work.
Up until 2009, I had one item that remained not reached that was on my dream board from back then, and at times it kinda' bugged me... BUT.... I was able to more than DOUBLE that dream in 2009!
It was a donation to an organization that I felt deserved that amount due to their "being there" for my family back when the Avro Arrow got cancelled, and my father was one of the more than 50,000 men out of work, and we lost our home.
Dream boards REALLY do work!

Great lesson Karin! Knowing your Big Why is very very important to succeed in anything we do. And sometimes is ever changing and in some seasons, we are our own Big Why... Dream Boards are also a must. Keeps us going, keeps us focused, and fires us up! Have an amazing day Karin!
