Good Day my WA tribe!,
I'm writing this for folks who have wondered about it or, if you haven't you are now curious about how to change the Admin Color Schemes in your Word Press Dashboard because.... I had to go ahead and mention it ; )
I stumbled upon this option when I was trying to buckle down and make peace with the interior paint scheme that is now an integral part of my life.
I didn't even think it terribly relevant to myself and in turn anyone else. I was just pleased to change it to something more pleasurable for me.
Today, I was installing the new EU cookie law plug-in to all my websites. <By the by if you haven't done this yet or don't know what the new cookie law is please see LabMan's important compliance information before you continue:

So, anyhoo I opened a .net site of mine and I saw this:
The issue for me was that I had already changed my active site's color schemes so the stark default color actually made me jump for a second....
....It's okay, you can laugh...it had me in crazy giggles at my 'me-ness.'
I can't help it. Constant Black and White just doesn't do it for me. I dig a variety of color : )
I Immediately Realized I Never Wanted to See That Default Theme Again!
So, Here You Go If You Would Like To Do The Same
1) Log in to your site, *Click* on your dashboard tab (as shown above) if you are not already there.
I selected the Ectoplasm scheme (shown directly below) ..... because.....Purple!
3) Lastly, don't forget to *Click* 'update profile' to save your changes!
Final Notes: I wasn't thrilled with any of the other options besides this one, even if a few of them were less displeasing to me in comparison to the default option.
I did a bit of research and found out that Word Press does have 8 more free admin color schemes that you can get with thier plugin:

Personally, I don't think my sites need one more plugin nor can I spend any more time with my frivolous purple ways ; )
