Niche Finding Methods

Finding a niche sounds like it should be easy enough but for many people it is one of the hardest things to do in internet marketing. What I want to do is help you discover the niche that's right for you. Your niche is your business and this decision warrants a certain amount of thought and planning.

One of the first questions people always ask is what niche is the most profitable. The answer is, any niche can be as profitable as you make it. You can find the biggest niche in the world but it will do you no good if it's a subject that does not intrigue you. You will simply become bored with it and your efforts will quickly grind to a halt.

Success in marketing comes from establishing yourself and growing the amount of content you contribute to your chosen niche. That means, in order for you to make a steady stream of income, you need to choose a niche that will continue to keep your interest so you will continue to add content and improve your authorship.

Everyone has something they love or something in which they have a keen interest. It's just a matter of uncovering what that is. You may derive this from a natural love you have for something like cooking, animals, sports, or even gardening. You may also get this interest as a result of an experience you're had. For example, in my case, I smoked cigarettes for around 20 years and as a result I developed bladder cancer and started selling electronic cigarettes because i wanted to help people stop smoking tobacco cigarettes and hopefully get them to stop smoking altogether.

Everyone has their own unique subject of interest and reasons for that interest. The key to choosing a niche that you will become successful at is capitalizing on your unique interest. This will not only keep you interested and keep you continually adding new content but will also give you a unique perspective and voice in your industry.

I know many of you might be saying, "But, I don't see how I can make money with my interest." Well, I have seen people make money on many different things that even I could hardly believe myself and it's proven to me that anything can be marketed and monetized.

Nice one Ty. No matter how much we think we know it is always good to go back to the basics and often we discover that missing link, or different view on the same topic which brings the aha moment.

Thanks Hudson, I know I struggled with finding as niche for a long time myself. I didn't put the proper amount of time into the subject as I should have and as a result I ended up bouncing around and never staying focused on one thing. I hope this keeps a few people from that same mistake.

Hi Ty great training tips. I took your advice and ran with fishing as my niche as its something I know and am passionate about. It has taken a bit of time to implement but I am now seeing some rewards from my eBay shop as sales have doubled over the last month.

Traffic is also starting to arrive at the website and I know I have loads more to do but if you stick to something you know you don't have to research the topic which takes up time but rather just write about it.

I am starting to enjoy my journey now and as time goes by it gets easier. I don't scratch my head as much now as I know there are guys like you in WA that are always willing to help.

This is a prime example of what I was saying. When I first heard of fishing as a niche I thought it sounded crazy. This was a long time ago but then I started looking at fishing sites and realized that it's not only a good niche but a huge one as well.

So many people love fishing and want to become better at it. Helping those people learn to fish better leads to sales because your fishing advice is awesome, well if your advice is awesome it's a natural assumption that the products you recommend to people will also be awesome.

The more a site builds the faster it starts to grow too. That's because people that fish have friends and they share the site with those friends and it get's passed along. As this happens Google and other search engines see the activity and start to rank you higher because they can see that the people that do visit the site are staying on the site and engaging.

Niches are literally everywhere you look, some are big and some are small but you can make money off of just about anything and everything.

I am blessed that I have a few "niche" markets that I am very comfortable as an "expert" and my problem is not the ideas, it is implementing the actual steps. but that's exactly why i am here, and i am here to stay! I truly appreciate the individual and group support this unprecedented group provides, and I am soooo grateful to have the chance to finally learn that which has baffled me for years! So i am taking my time, step by step, slowly getting into the training's, and enjoying the comments on the journey. With a few health challenges behind me a possible new one in front of me, this is a great positive productive way to get the "rest" I need and kick back with my laptop and create!! AND in the end make money! thanks for all your support and kind words. blessings MaryelPhD

You'll get there on the step by step part. There are lots of guides in WA from me and lots of others as well that will teach you everything you need to know. It's natural to feel like you're drowning at first but that will eventually go away as you grow in knowledge.

Thanks for the training Ty! Finding a "niche" seems to be one of the biggest hurdles people have when getting started. With that said, once you learn about "niches" and that there are niches everywhere, it becomes a lot easier to make a decision on choosing one to promote.

Yeah it get's a lot easier to find and even educate yourself on niches as time goes on. Starting out it's so much easier to choose something a topic you're already well versed in or at least very interested in. I think starting out you are already overwhelmed with new information as it.

You said it exactly Ty. Choose something that you are interested in when you are just getting started. Makes things a heck of a lot easier.
