How to Start Writing Content as a Newbie or Struggling Veteran
- Just write
They say every journey begins with a step, no matter how long. The first bold step you take is a statement of intent on its own. You just have to write because that way, you get used to it and develop more interest.
In this case, the length of what you write doesn’t matter. But the great thing is you’re not really new to writing, especially if you went through high school.
Remember that narrative essay you once wrote in English class! Now, that’s content writing. It could be you giving an account of an event that happened, or writing about your best friend. There are more instances, just to show you that you’re not really new to content writing as you might think.
So, apparently, your high school teacher was one of the first people to introduce you to content writing. The only difference is you just didn't know at the time.
- Intensify your social media endeavors
You have to get on social media more. This way, you go to blogs and websites to read posts. You also get to interact with different people and read random articles. The reason you’re doing all these is to improve your vocabulary.
In writing, your vocabulary is Key. So, when you read books, articles, and random pieces online, you engage your brain which in turn improves your vocabulary.
