Why Use YouTube?

Back in November of 2013, YouTube was acquired by Google - without doubt, the number 1 Search Engine that dominates the Internet. Obviously, since this acquisition, Google has given a lot of attention to YouTube and it has skyrocketed the importance of using YouTube in your marketing efforts.

• YouTube is the 2nd largest search engine and the 3rd most visited website worldwide, behind only Google and Facebook respectively.
• 1 billion people visit YouTube each month globally
• 100 hours of video are uploaded every 60 seconds to YouTube
• According to Nielsen, YouTube reaches more US adults aged 18-34 than any cable network

Being the second largest search engine, you can see how powerful videos can be. I always urge new business owners to put some major marketing effort into YouTube videos, embedding them in their blog posts/page and more.

With the combination of YouTube and other social media marketing efforts, you can double, triple quadruple, quintuple -- etc, etc., - Your Website Traffic! The sky is the limit!
