In this video, I'll be walking you through the steps to adding Social Media buttons on your sidebar. The plugin for the is called "Social Media Widget" and it is made by Blink Web Effects.

Having those Social Media icons on your site can go a long way in getting you more visibility and clicks, so don't be afraid to give it a try.

Have fun!

-------------------------------

[UPDATE] The "Social Media Widget" plugin underwent some changes but its still there. It's not under Blink Web Effects anymore, but under Noah Kagan. Here's a screenshot to help you get a better picture.

If you do not fancy this plugin, I actually created another video showing you an alternative plugin you can use here ---> https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-ad...

Good luck!

Hey Michael,
Have you added your Social Media links to the widget? The icons will only appear when the URLs are there for them connect to.

Yessss, there's a dropdown where you need to fill in your links to Facebook, Twitter, or just about any social media accounts there is. Here, I took a screenshot to show you where :D

No worries! You don't actually need a plugin to embed, you can do it on the spot. Where would you like to embed your image Michael? Some people embed images on their pages, while some others embed images on their sidebar.

If you want to embed an image on your WordPress text editor, you actually have to paste that code in the "Text" section of the box. If you look closely on the top-right corner of your WordPress editor, you'll notice that you're already on the "Visual" side of the box which is the default mode.

Just click on "Text" on the right of "Visual", put your link there, switch back to visual and you're done! You'll either see a full image but for some codes, you'll either see a grey box like when embedding YouTube videos.

Hope this helps! You actually gave me an idea to make another quick video tuto :D
