Being able to leave notes on your posts is important for many reasons.
For example, if you need to edit a post but you have no time to do so, you can leave a note that says, for example, "needs editing." Then, whenever you log into the posts area of your website, you will be able to view all your tasks for each and every post.
It's also useful if you outsource some of your work and you created a separate WordPress account that gives someone else access to write posts on your site but not do stuff like add plugins. You can leave notes, reviews, observations, and tips on all of their posts so they will view it when they log in.
It's also a great way to be organized and keep track of your posts. I use it to keep track of the keywords I am targeting or ranking for in each post, but you can keep it to be able to track which date each post is schedules, what type of post it is -- for example, if it is a review, a how-to post, or a blog post.
What we are looking for is a plugin that allows to leave notes on each and every post. We also want a plugin where the notes are viewable from the posts list in your admin area, not where you have to go to the editing section to view it. Look at the image below.
As you can see, I am tracking which keyword I am ranking for in each review. Filler post means that I posted something just to be active, without targeting any keyword.
