·Log In to your Google+ account

·Once logged in you’ll see the below Google+ Badge section

hmm...just had a thought though - do you think it will work to my disadvantage that I don't have many G+ followers? of course, I want to come across as someone who knows what they are talking about...so maybe i 'reveal' myself as someone who doesn't have the biggest network after all when the readers can see that I only have 12 followers (as of today)?
What are your thoughts guys?

Hi Brenda, I've added it to all my posts and all the pages that I write information on.
This way, when my posts or pages get indexed and someone reads it, I've seen great results from people easily being able to follow me on Google+.
I've personally found that this adds good UX (User Experience) when people read my content which adds a picture to everything you put out there.

I would recommend you put it on every post and any page you write about yourself like your "About Me" page.
The Google+ badge allows visitors to engage with you directly from the badge itself and allow people to easily find you on Google+ and add you to a circle directly from your website.
