Offering a free download is a great way to build traffic and engage readers. While many offer free eBooks, or similar products, through email subscriptions, I wanted to add a PDF file as a download inside one of my WordPress posts.

I wanted to keep it simple, just as a text link, as to not to distract from the rest of the content.

Since this can be a valuable marketing tool, I wanted to share the process I took to include a free PDF file download directly within my post.
