A lot of websites want you to pay to guest post these days. I saw one just today who wants $26 to guest post but his DA is 88 so it might be worth while.
Might any of the well-established folks in WA be open to guest posting on their site to help the newer folks out? Just a thought.

As a rule of thumb, you should never guest post on a site that has a low barrier for guest posting. Higher price + strong requirements are (as odd as it sounds) the qualities you want from a website that you wish to guest post on.
The reason it doesn't happen here is that this community is a community of friends, and, unfortunately, when people get their posts rejected for not meeting the required guest post standard (some - but not all) can take it personally which leads to fallouts etc. That's why things like that don't really occur here.
Rather than guest posting, you could always simply do outreach. If you write good content on your website, find similar "best of" posts online & outreach to them asking if they'll reference your content in their articles.

Yeah, I saw someone do a brilliant job of that. He asked top bloggers in his niche for their number one tip and made a really good post. They all got their link included and I'm sure they would have shared it in their social media as a minimum.
